Brixton, South London and having Caribbean parents have all given Clip C a very multicultural and open aspect towards life and to his music. Without question music really does take priority in Clip C's everyday life and is intertwined within South London's hardcore underground rap, reggae and dancehall scenes.

A first dancehall collaboration with Lady Danga which was produced by Money Over Haters in 2011 was played on Metro Love Radio by DJ KING GLAMMA and Lightening Fm. The track then went on to get an excellent response from the UK public and DJ's alike.

She Wants Me – a track made in collaboration with Troyton Music production, was released in 2016 in Jamaica, the UK and USA, receiving a great response and truly introducing Clip C to the worldwide dancehall scene.

In 2017 the EP and video for Topshella was released with impressive reviews, giving Clip C the opportunity to be in the company of established artists/producers and engineers such as Troyton Music, Nafe Smallz, Jamakabi, Stylo G, TonyTouch Prod, Deanodeann Rec, Sneakbo, Buzwakk Records, Claye and others.
